Directions and Contact Details for the New Wet Nose Animal Rescue

Please note that Wet Nose has moved. This is our new address and eventually our very own permanent home for our animals.

Our telephone lines have not been installed as yet, thus we are only reachable via cell phones.

Please dial 0824987740/0827422522/0824461662 in the meantime. We apologise for any inconvenience and will advise you of the new number once Telkom has installed.

Direction to Wet Nose

Take the N4 highway from Pretoria towards Bronkhorspruit/Witbank. Continue past the Hans Strydom off ramp. Then past the Boschkop/Donkerhoek off ramp. You then will get the Rayton/Cullinan off ramp.

Take the Rayton/Cullinan off ramp to the left. You will pass thru a small tollgate (R8.50), then at the T-junction turn left towards Rayton. 150 meters on you will get a 4 way stop. At the 4 way stop turn right, continue down for exactly 6.1 km. A sand road will turn out to the left, the Wet Nose signboard is clearly visible, turn in left here and the first blue gate is our entrance. Wet Nose will be on your left hand side.

You can also travel from Pretoria on the old Pretoria/Bronkhorspruit road if you do not wish to travel on the highway and make use of the tollgate.

Just continue down this road until you get the 4 way stop as mentioned above, continue straight over the 4 way stop (Direction to Bronkhorstspruit) for 6.1 km and Wet Nose will be situated on your left.

Although many people may think this is a far drive, let us assure you that from Hans Strydom off ramp it is 11km further away than what the old Wet Nose was situated.

We are very proud of the new Wet Nose, firstly because it is our own, no more renting and landlords that give our animals and staff problems. BUT MOSTLY because our animals are happy here and the peacefulness is truly wonderful. One can already see the huge change in our animals' behavior and they all have large running camps and loads of space in the wonderful outdoors.

We look forward to your visit
