Directions and Contact Details for the New Wet Nose Animal Rescue Centre

Please note that Wet Nose has moved. This is our new address and eventually our very own permanent home for our animals.

From Pretoria

Take the N4 highway from Pretoria towards Bronkhorspruit/Witbank. Continue past the Hans Strydom off ramp. Then past the Boschkop/Donkerhoek off ramp. You then will get the Rayton/Cullinan off ramp. Take the Rayton/Cullinan off ramp to the left. You will pass through a small tollgate (R10.00), then at the T-junction turn left towards Rayton. 150 meters on you will get a 4 way stop. At the 4 way stop turn right, continue down for exactly 6.1 km, the Wet Nose signboard is clearly visible on your left.  The black gate is our entrance.  You can also travel from Pretoria on the old Pretoria/Bronkhorspruit road if you do not wish to travel on the highway and make use of the tollgate.

We are very proud of the new Wet Nose, firstly because it is our own, no more renting and landlords that give our animals and staff problems. BUT MOSTLY because our animals are happy here and the peacefulness is truly wonderful. One can already see the huge change in our animal’s behavior and they all have large running camps and loads of space  outdoors.

From the EAST of Johannesburg

Carry on the R21 past the OR Tambo terminals. You will pass the Pamona off-ramp and carry on until you get the R25 Bronkhorstspruit / Babsfontein off-ramp, take this and at the end of the off-ramp, turn left and carry on to the T- junction, this is the R50 (Pretoria /Delmas Road). Turn right and go through Babsfontein to the BIG fourway stop. Turn left again onto the R25 to Bronkhorstspruit. You will go past the Welbekend Police Station, shortly thereafter you get the Garsfontein turn to the left, go past this, the next is Wapadrand. Your third turn is the R515 Cullinan, take this and go over the N4 highway to the fourway stop. (Total garage on your left). Turn right and we are 6.1 km along the left.

From the WEST of Johannesburg

Take the R14/Krugersdorp Highway – continue through Centurion and then follow directions as from Johannesburg.

From Johannesburg

Take the N1 towards Polokwane/Pietersburg.  Go through Centurion.  You will then go past Rigel Avenue  –  Atterbury Road  -  Lynnwood Road off ramps.  Just after this, you will get the Pretoria/N4 Emalahleni/Witbank off ramp.  Take this and then follow directions from Pretoria.
