Hi to my dear friends at Wetnose.

I was adopted at the end of June.  I had spent a long time at Wetnose, after being found with my puppies in the veld.  Some of us got homes, but Coralie and I were left behind.  I thought I would never have a home again.  My mom thought I had the saddest eyes she had ever seen.  So, you would not recognize me now!  I have sent pics.  I am enjoying being a wild ruffian.  I am making up for the long time of having to be patient and waiting.  I have lots of opportunities now to run in the veld and hunt, to jump at rats!  I swim, and dig, and roll in glorious smelly things.  I sometimes have a bath, because I do get to sleep on the bed.  Last month I was joined by Duke.  He is handsome, and 18 months old.  We play catch, and hunt for moles together.  I have found my voice, and have a beautiful vocal range – from a deep, threatening growl, to a falsetto.  I am sad Coralie has still not found a home.  We check every week, and hope so much that someone offers to adopt her.  Thank you to all of you for taking such good care of me, for finding me and rescuing me.  I have a whole new life beginning, and I know I am very, very loved.

With love from Cindy
