Hi All

Verna says “Hi all you lovies” from Mossel Bay.  Introductions was done last night and went very well…… Jurg says looks like she took a special liking in her new 3 legged little friend.  She was even relaxed enough to eat before bedtime. Everyone was so chuffed with her….. thanks again to all of you and the work you do to make it possible for little angels like this to have a second chance in life.  If not for you who knows where she and many others like her would be today.  I’ll share photo’s as and when I receive them, don’t know about you guys but I still have not said goodbuy to her completely….. need to see a bit more of her in her new life.

Please find attached a few pics of Dillon and Jake at home. They’re both sweethearts and very well behaved and they’re already quite protective over us. Over Christmas my mother in law brought her young yorkie with, and Jake and Dillon enjoyed her very much. From the first minute they played together, no aggresion towards her or anything of that sort, the little one had them running around, pulling rope with Jake and rolling around with Dillon who very much enjoyed having someone smaller than him – he liked being the “big dog”. Jake especially loves his chew toys, hooves with some peanut butter in and pulling rope or playing catch with a ball. Dillon is more quiet but very attentive and have a few favourite spots to nap and especially like snuggling in on someone’s lap. They also love each others company and keep each other busy, whether it’s softly biting at each other playfully or curling up next to each other on a blanket.

We very much love and enjoy these two and they’re bringing lots of  joy to our home.

This is just an update:
We adopted Gabby in August this year from your centre, she is really such a
loving dog, has a very cute but lovely personality along with being
extremely naughty but so cute we can’t discipline her even after the
hundreds of things she has destroyed.
I am attaching some photos of her just so you can see how well she has
settled in!

We adopted Spooky from Wetnose in July 2005. She moved with us first to New York, and then to Finland, where we currently live. And as you may know,
Santa Claus lives in Finland

Spooky is a fantastic dog and the best thing that ever happened to us. We
are forever grateful to everyone at Wetnose for rescuing her!

Hi all at Wetnose,

 This is Gloria making herself very much at home.  She is beautiful and already everyone loves her.  Thank you so much for finding me a friend, companion & protector – she is everything.  We are going off to town now – she will get to ride in front with me where she can see what is going on.  She is very curious and the cat that used to roam the high wall at the back seems to have moved on to greener pastures.

 I would also like to compliment you and your team of helpers & volunteers on an immacualte farm – I was totally taken by surprise it was like visiting a garden park.

 Take care – hope you like the photo – this blanket came all the way fromMexico and is hand made – well at least it is being used now.

Dear Michelle

Just reporting back to HQ on Molly ! At last I have a photo to send you of Eve & Molly taken at The Celtic Breeds Club Christmas Charity Show.

All I can say is what a FANTASTIC dog, we love her sooooooooo much. She has her own pillow on my bed which she shovels up into the right shape for her comfort, she sleeps with Eve the first half of the night & mine the last half!! She bosses my Great Dane Nero about (he won’t pass her in the corridor) which I find AMAZING!!

If we tell her off she complains verbally & makes us feel terrible! She keeps trying to sneak into my car every morning!! She hates us leaving her ,so we feel even MORE guilty for leaving her . . . . .

The other day she snuck in front of the car out ON the pavement ,rolled over with all her feet in the air and refused to move!!! She just plonk’s herself & that is it!!

THANK YOU FOR LETTING US HAVE MOLLY!!!!!!

Dearest Cheryl and Michelle

It has almost been 4 weeks since I adopted Amanda, now Gaby. Just thought I would let you know that she is doing just great and has become the love of my life. She has many toys she plays with but her favourite is her two stuffed animal toys, Ollie and Jerry.

She has been eating very well and had her injections. On weekends she goes to play with a friends’ 3 dogs and comes home exhausted from all the excitement and playing. The is still not completely “potty trained” and has little oopses, but all is forgiven very quickly.

I attach a few pictures of her.

Thank you for taking care of her until she found her real home.

 Ons het haar so 3 maande terug aangeneem by Wetnose as die oulikse 8 weke oue baba katjie.

 Soos jy kan sien het sy baie vinnig aangepas by ons gesinnetjie, en geniet die geselskap van haar “boetie” (n foxterrier) en “sussie” (n worshord) verskriklik baie.

 Ek wou net dankie se vir die oulikste geskenkie van die jaar, ons huis sou net nie dieselfde gewees het sonder haar nie.

Hi All

We really are so happy. She’s slotted in so wonderfully and has taken to MJ and vice versa. She follows her everywhere. Haha at times it’s gets a bit schitzophrenic and she tries to follow us all.

MJ’s teaching her as well. We’ve taught MJ to sit before we give her food or treats and Tammy’s sitting as well already!!!

We got some toys for them and they are playing tug of war constantly.

I hope all is well there and that ALL the special ones you house find happy homes soon.
