Many consumers, especially animal lovers, have a deep sense of loyalty towards those who contribute to saving helpless animals that cannot speak for themselves. We have found that our loving supporters would much rather do business with a company who supports us, than one they have never heard of.

This means that, while we are forced to ask for donations, we are also able to give a little something back to the corporate sponsors and business that are so loyal to the animals in our care. Keeping in mind that we receive no government or municipal funding with which to care for the abused, abandoned and neglected animals in need, we rely purely on the animal loving public for their very survival. Fortunately, we have thousands of hits on our website every month and can therefore provide a little bit of exposure for your business, and even offer you a direct link from our website to your own.

We have upgraded and improved our website and can now offer your business three different options to show the public that you care. These options are both paid for by your business, which serves as a donation to the shelter and as a service to you. Your donation will go towards sterilisation, inoculation, de-worming, dipping, micro-chipping, medication, food, blankets, kennel staff, outreaches, education etc. to name just a few.

You may request a Section 18A Certificate for a tax deductable donation or an invoice for Advertising on our site, whichever suits you best. It all goes a long way towards ensuring that the animals in our care are well taken care of, for as long as it takes to find them a “forever home”.

OPTION 1 - PURCHASE A WET NOSE BANNER FOR YOUR WEBSITE
This Banner may be placed on the corner of your home page for a monthly donation of R150 for the White Ribbon or R250 for the Gold Ribbon.

OPTION 2 - PURCHASE A WETNOSE LOGO WITH A LINK BETWEEN WEBSITES
This logo can appear on your website with a link to our website and your logo will appear on our sponsors page with a link to your website.

Terms & Conditions

Purchase of a Wet Nose Rescue Centre support logo

Definitions:

The Wet Nose Rescue Centre, a company not having share capital, incorporated under section 21 of the Companies Act 61 of 1973, and a registered non-profit organization.
The Wet Nose Rescue Centre website refers to www.wetnose.org.za
Where this agreement refers to written notice, this shall include electronic communications such as e-mail, as defined in the electronic communications and transactions act no 25 of 2002.

The Wet Nose Rescue Centre grants the corporate sponsor the right to display the Wet Nose Rescue Centre support logo on their website, subject to the following terms and conditions:

a. The logo remains the intellectual property of the Wet Nose Rescue Centre at all times, and the Wet Nose Rescue Centre retains a common-law Copyright therein.

b. The logo may only be used on the website approved by the Wet Nose Rescue Centre, and the Wet Nose Rescue Centre retains the right to request any website to stop displaying the logo.

c. The logo must be displayed as shown by the samples, and may not be changed or modified in any way(without the word sample).

The corporate sponsor may only continue to display the logo so long as they have paid to the monthly donation according to the following payment scheme:

a. In order to display the white label logo, the sponsor must donate R150.00 per month.

b. In order to display the Gold label logo, they the sponsor must donate R250.00 per month.

Before the logo may be displayed, the donation must be paid in full initially, for the complete period that the logo will be displayed, up to a period of 12 months, to the Wet Nose Rescue Centre.

a. Should the donor wish to display the logo for a period longer than 12 months, this payment must be made on an annual basis.

b. The corporate sponsor is requested to inform the Wet Nose Rescue Centre one month before the end of the 12 month period that they wish to renew their corporate sponsorship, indicating the new period in number of months, either by using the Wet Nose Rescue Centre website page or by written notice to the Wet Nose Rescue Centre.

Should the corporate sponsor wish to withdraw their sponsorship, withdrawal is subject to the following conditions:

a. Written notice must be sent to the Wet Nose Rescue Centre.

b. A notice period of 1 month (30 days) must be given.

c. A handling fee of 15% of the total donation amount will be retained by the Wet Nose Rescue Centre.

d. The remnants of the donation amount, less the amount calculated for number of months the logo has been displayed by the corporate sponsor, the one month’s notice period and the 15% handling fee, will be returned within 30 days to the corporate sponsor by the Wet Nose Rescue Centre.

e. Immediately upon filing written notice to the Wet Nose Rescue Centreof such cancellation, the corporate sponsor undertakes immediately to remove the logo from their website.

The corporate sponsor undertakes to create a hyperlink to the Wet Nose Rescue Centre website, and maintain this link so long as they continue to display the logo.

Unless otherwise requested by clicking on the requisite box on the purchase a Wet Nose Rescue Centre support logo page, the corporate sponsors name and details as supplied to the Wet Nose Rescue Centre will be displayed on the Wet Nose Rescue Centre website.

a. At any time the corporate sponsor may request in writing that the Wet Nose Rescue Centre to either display or remove their details from the sponsors’ page, and the HHCU undertakes to do this within 24hours of receipt of such notice.

b. The Wet Nose undertakes to create a hyperlink to the corporate advertisers website from the Wet Nose Rescue Centre website, so long as the corporate sponsorship agreement should be in place, unless requested otherwise.

While every reasonable attempt will be made to ensure that the web site is available at all times on the World Wide Web, the Wet Nose Rescue Centrewill accept no liability whatsoever for any loss incurred as a result of the Wet Nose Rescue Centrewebsite being temporarily unavailable due to routine maintenance, telecommunications or equipment failure or any other cause. Nor will the Wet Nose Rescue Centrerefund or payments made, should such refund be requested as a result of the website being unavailable for any reason.

These terms will be governed by South African law and the corporate sponsor consents to the jurisdiction of the Magistrate’s Court having jurisdiction in terms of section 28 of the Magistrate’s Court Act as amended. The Wet Nose Rescue Centrereserves the right to institute proceedings or file a counterclaim in the division of the High Court of South Africa having jurisdiction.

These terms and conditions remain the entirety of the agreement between the Wet Nose Rescue Centreand the corporate sponsor, and may not be varied either by omission or any other manner, except by in writing and as consented to by both parties.
