Education is of vital importance to Wet Nose, as we believe that the lack thereof is the reason for so many abused, abandoned and neglected animals, as well as for the millions of unwanted litters of puppies and kittens in the world today. In South Africa we are faced with an enormous education challenge. Many families cannot afford to care for themselves, never mind their animals. There are a lot of myths and untruths told regarding animals, and even strange beliefs that certain animals are evil and should be stoned. Even the highly educated and wealthy  have some strange idea’s regarding certain aspects, e.g. sterilization. Wet Nose often visit schools in order to educate the children, who in turn often educate their parents.
